Trinidad and Tobago's sport industry can generate billions of TT dollars in addition to being a net foreign exchange earner.

The potential is enormous. Now is as a good time as any to start doing what needs to be done. If we act now by 2030 the Industry can be operating up to its potential.

What, how and by who will be discussed on the 9th March at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Port of Spain, Trinidad when the TTOC (Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee) host a Business of Sport Conference with the Theme: Economic Growth and Diversification - Trinidad and Tobago Sport Rising TO The Challenge.

The TTOC in fulfilling its mandate to develop, promote and protect the Olympic Movement in accordance with the Olympic Charter is committed to championing and advocating for creation of a viable sports industry as a means to provide for the social, economic and professional future of athletes and sports in general in Trinidad and Tobago.

The global sport industry is estimated to be between 400 and 600 billion US dollars.

Trinidad and Tobago can carve out a niche for itself in the global sport industry.
