Believe it or not, it’s just about two weeks to go to the Rio Olympic Games. The excitement is reaching fever pitch. Team TTO Tee shirts, Believe Tee Shirts and wristbands are now available at all branches of The Fan Club, MovieTowne, Trincity Mall and Gulf City Mall.

You can dance. You can sing. And you can identify with Team TTO and 10 Golds 24.

The partnership was the second of the initiative, with Erphaan Alves and the song ‘Believe’ being the first cultural relationship created. This element of the strategic marketing objective is focused on blending culture and sports with the hope to increase enthusiasm amongst citizens and provide inspiration to the athletes.

The partnership between Team TTO and Sekon Sta is to “Provide encouragement, support, patriotism and good citizen’s values to our athletes and their pursuit to sporting excellence in Rio in August this year,” said Wendell Constantine, TTOC executive board member.

‘My World’ and ‘Believe’ are compositions created to boost the morale of both our athletes and citizens and to encourage our nation to download the songs.

Since added to the cultural partnership list are Chucky Gordon and Kerron Sunny Bling Sealy. Gordon singing ‘Bleeding Red, White and Black’ while Sunny Bling is adding his voice and personality. All four cultural partners share a common vision for T&T. They believe in the potential of T&T to be great.

Combined with the historic sale of T&T Olympic branded memorabalia at The Fan Club, the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) is reaching out to the public in many ways. There is the text donate promotions on the popular Press Play Juke Box network.

The reality is that the TTOC and Team TTO have been engaging the public like never before. It is a strategic approach that has had challenges as the modern world of social media and its openness to comment has exposed the TTOC to perceived negative fall out.

But negativity aside, the TTOC of 2016 is now seen as a modern vibrant brand. Rio 2016 is here. This week the Team TTO Rio 2016 Pre Games Training Camp departures will begin in earnest.

Also on the cards is the official unveiling of the Team TTO Rio 2016 Adidas uniforms. Sunday will mark the 40th anniversary of Hasely Crawford’s historic 100m men Gold medal sprint that established Trinidad and Tobago on the Olympic stage.

Its the ultimate dream. Lets live it.
