2014 The Bowerman winner Deon Lendore passed away on Monday.
World Athletics is deeply saddened to hear that Trinidad and Tobago’s Olympic and world 4x400m medallist Deon Lendore has died at the age of 29.
History is made and defined by landmark events.
TRINIDAD and Tobago will not be represented at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association Age Group (Under-13 and Under-15) Championships scheduled to be held in Nicaragua, on Friday and Saturday.
QUARTERMILER Deon Lendore is the lone Trinidad and Tobago athlete expected to compete in the 2021 Wanda Diamond League finale, at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich, Switzerland, on Wednesday and Thursday.
TT ATHLETES Kirdell McIntosh and Jonathan Farinha believe lack of competition and limited access to training facilities have hindered their progress and they have not been given the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
The first day of the Olympic Trials being hosted by the National Association of Athletics Administration of T&T (NAAATT) has been shifted from Sunday to Monday but remains at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo, Port-of-Spain.
