30 named for Team TTO Olympic duty
World Athletics President Sebastian Coe has claimed he does not believe there is a huge risk posed by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, stressing the stringent measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Athletes’ Commission (AC) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) today received the full support of the IOC Executive Board (EB) for a set of recommendations in regard to Rule 50 of the Olympic Charter and Athlete Expression at the Olympic Games. Rule 50 provides a framework to protect the neutrality of sport and the Olympic Games.
AS PART OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IOC ATHLETES’ COMMISSION’S RECOMMENDATIONS, THE EXECUTIVE BOARD (EB) OF THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE (IOC) HAS APPROVED THE RULE 50.2 GUIDELINES FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES TOKYO 2020.
A four-year plan for 2021 to 2024 that will enable a million young people affected by displacement to have access to safe sport has been approved by the Board of the Olympic Refuge Foundation (ORF).
The Olympic Refuge Foundation today reaffirmed its commitment to leveraging sport to protect and support young people affected by displacement worldwide.
