AKIM TOUSSAINT notched a hat-trick yesterday as Trinidad and Tobago earned their first win in the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup, at the Max-Schmeling-Halle, Berlin, Germany.

T&T’s senior men’s indoor hockey players have dedicated their authoratative 7-0 over Argentina last night, in the 2017 Pan American Indoor Cup Men’s Tournament final, to their coach Raphael Govia whose father, Winston Govia passed away on Friday.

The trio of Emmanuel brothers, Kristien, Kieron and Kwasi as well as Marcano brothers, Tariq and Teague, all of Malvern, dominated a very strong T&T men’s Under-21 hockey team which will compete at the 2016 Junior Pan American Hockey Championship from May 20-26 in Toronto, Canada.
