The TTOC confirms that Dr. Ian Hypolite, Chef de Mission for Team TTO will provide a secondary role during the Rio Games as a studio analyst for the track and field events involving athletes from Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
Dr. Hypolite’s vast experience will serve to accurately analyse Team TTO’s medal opportunities in track and field during the Olympic Games in Brazil.
The TTOC, as a member of CANOC, the owner of the CBI, continues to seek all avenues of exposure for the promotion of Team TTO as a leader in the overall development of the country’s athletes, trainers, administrators and sports officials to explore their fullest potential under the Olympic charter.
Team TTO is currently at its training camp in Sao Paulo, under Dr. Hypolite’s direction and later this week will transfer to the Olympic Village in Rio, ahead of the Opening Ceremony on Friday 5 August.
