(CNN)In isolation it's just a rugby match. The crescendo of a tournament resulting in a third etching of the words South Africa on a small golden trophy, no doubt prompting hangovers, sore throats and early morning excuses to bosses around the country.

Three dif­fer­ent play­ers scored a try each as Trinidad North­ern RFC com­plet­ed the dou­ble in the 2019 T&T Rug­by Foot­ball Union Cham­pi­onship Di­vi­sion by blank­ing arch-ri­vals Caribs RFC 22-0 to lift the league ti­tle at Pres­i­dent's Ground, St Ann's, on Sat­ur­day.

George Town, Cayman Island (July 6, 2019) – Day one of the 2019 RF Group Rugby Americas North Sevens kicked off under sun-drenched skies at Truman Bodden National Sports Complex on Saturday with a total of 21 matches being played throughout the day. With an abundance of highlight-reel tries, big tackles and upsets on showcase, local and international rugby fans were given their monies worth.
