Against the background of bleak economic news and the ongoing corruption scandal in world sport.

Local sport leaders will have a lot to think and talk about when they gather at 530pm for the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee 's (TTOC) final General Council meeting for the year this afternoon at Olympic House, 121 Abrecromby Street, Port of Spain.

Sport organisations affilated to the National Olympic Committee will receive updates and reports including the recent Good Governance Code initiative consultation and Good Governance week.

Meanwhile digitial and on line voting via social media for the first ever TTOC People’s Choice Award will close at midnight on Sunday 20th December. The winning athlete will be unveiled at the 18th Annual TTOC Awards Gala scheduled for the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Tuesday 29th December at 6pm.
