Team Trinidad and Tobago (Team TTO) athletes had their first training session at their respective training areas as the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) Pre Rio 2016 Olympic Training Camp got underway in Bragança, Paulista.

Toronto 2015 Pan American Gold medalist Cleopatra Borel started with a weight training session followed by a shot put session. “the gym is at the track, the track is a short 15-minute drive from our hotel base, the food and accommodation is excellent. I’m really happy with the camp. Kudos to the TTOC” said a happy Borel.

Along with Borel other track and field athletes having their first training session were Jehue Gordon, Keshorn Walcott, Kyle Greaux and Mikel Thomas.

Meanwhile Olympic debutant Gymnast Marisa Dick, and her coach Anita Pellitier travelled to Jundiaí, São Paulo to do a light session at the Gymnastics facility at the Conjunto Poliesportivo Dr. Nicolino de Lucca.

Another First time Olympian, super heavyweight boxer Nigel Paul had his first training session of the Rio 2016 Team TTO pre-Olympic training camp under the watchful eye of coach Floyd Trumpet.
